This policy explains what PortLedger collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with. It applies to the Android app published on Google Play.

Summary

PortLedger uses Google Firebase for anonymous analytics and push notifications. It opens its web page at https://beteu.rest/about/portledger in your device browser so you can read the app description and reach Google Play. It has no sign-in, no accounts, no in-app purchases and no advertising shown inside the app. An offline copy of the utility stays on the device for use without a network.

Information we collect

• Firebase Analytics (Google): an app-instance ID generated at first launch, your Android Advertising ID (AD_ID) if you have not opted out of ad personalisation, approximate country, device model, Android version, app version, and standard event logs (first_open, app_open, engagement time, screen views).
• Install attribution: when Google Play delivers the install, we receive the Play Install Referrer so Firebase can attribute the install to the campaign that brought you.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): a Firebase Messaging registration token that lets us send you push notifications. If you deny the notification permission, no notifications are shown.
• Crash and diagnostic data: if the app crashes, Firebase may collect an anonymised stack trace, device model and Android version.

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, microphone, camera or health data. Entries you type in the offline utility stay on the device.

Permissions

• INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — open the about page, send analytics and receive push notifications.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — show push notifications you have agreed to receive.
• com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID — read your Android Advertising ID for Firebase Analytics attribution.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED, WAKE_LOCK, Google Play Services messaging and install-referrer permissions — declared by the Firebase SDK.

Who the data is shared with

The data above is sent to Google (Firebase and Google Play Services). It is processed under Google's Firebase Privacy and Security policy and Google's Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data.

Your choices

• Turn off ad personalisation: Android settings → Privacy → Ads.
• Stop push notifications: Android settings → Apps → PortLedger → Notifications.
• Delete install-linked data: uninstall the app or clear its storage.
• EEA/UK/California access or deletion requests: support@beteu.rest.

Children

PortLedger is not directed to children under 13.
